In the first year, students are introduced to the field, studying education systems, psychology, and the education of students with disabilities, and much more. In the second year through the foruth year, students learn about theories in Applied Behavior Analysis, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Education, and Pathology, in accordance with the curriculum of the major which students select at the beginning of their second year.
Students enrolled in the program learn instructional strategies to teach students with disabilities using a variety of academic skills.
